[ The fluidity and efficiency of Vash's movements are impressive, the way that he's able to use his lesser bulk to pin Knives down and keep him there. Under other circumstances, perhaps Knives would have even been pleased to see it. However, his main thought is that if Vash had taken all the time he devoted to learning how to fight like this and instead put it toward understanding how to control his Gate, perhaps things would have been different.

Or perhaps not, because he still would have needed Vash's willingness to go along with his plan, and that's never been forthcoming.

As Vash expected, Knives does try to buck him off, his pelvis lifting as he thrashes and fights. The entire situation is undignified and he wouldn't particularly care if he was fighting for something of import, but ultimately his terrorizing of the girl had been little more than a whim.

Just log off, Nai!

He lets out a low laugh at that, one that quickly grows into something more bombastic, bellowing straight from his chest. ]

You think that will be enough to be rid of me, Vash?!

[ And there's something about the idea of being tied down and restrained by his own brother, the one person who should know how much that would bother him, that settles it. All it takes it a thought about logging out and exiting the game, and he's gone, the space beneath Vash vacated.

Unfortunately, that doesn't mean he's truly gone. A few moments later a loud banging starts at Vash's room's door in Domus Hosus, with Knives yelling for him to open up. ]
